For the internet I would use a bit map because on the internet pictures may become pixelated if stretched,

For the image on the van I would use a vector image, which can format into SVG  and Avi files

For the nursery leaflet I would use a Jpeg image because you don’t need to stretch the image too big for it to pixelate.
